Okay, so I have to admit that a year ago, my vet (who we love) suggested Roo get her teeth cleaned as she had severe calculus build-up on her back molars. I asked for a quote and it started at over $500 which was a bill I couldn’t really afford. So I didn’t go ahead with the cleaning. PLUS I didn’t want to Roo under anesthetic just for teeth cleaning. About the same time, I started using NATURE’S DENTIST hoping to reverse Roo’s plaque build-up. Fast forward to yesterday when Danielle of WAGS K-9 TEETH CLEANING set up shop in the back of ours and went to work on four dogs we had booked. It was a test to see if the environment here at BARKTHOLOMEWS would work for her and us … which it did brilliantly. Roo was one of the four dogs (see pics below) and I’m so happy to report her teeth look FABULOUS! (As did Maddy’s, Angus’s and Ceilidh’s). Danielle’s report states that Roo had “moderate to large calculus, moderate gingivitis, excessive build-up around lower incisors, and mild staining” and she said that the plaque was soft and easy to remove which is due to our using Natures’ Dentist. We are now booking appointments in March and it is our goal to have Danielle here twice a month. Our days will be Tuesdays and the process takes between one to one-and-a-half hours. We’ll keep you updated here and on our FACEBOOK page (www.facebook.com/barktholomews). Please feel free to call us for more information. And a BIG THANK YOU to Silvana + Meika who introduced to WAGS!
